Sandy Hook is a 6 1/2 mile long barrier peninsula that includes miles of guarded ocean beaches for swimming and other beaches for fishing, as well as hiking trails, salt marshes and the historic site of Fort Hancock. The tip of the Hook overlooks the entrance to New York Harbor and is the northern point along the New Jersey Shore.

The members of Division 2 patrol the waters surrounding Sandy Hook and the Navesink and Shrewsbury rivers and are ready at a moments notice to respond to any emergency.  The members of Division 2 live by the words Semper Paratus (Always Ready).

The Division is divided into 6 Flotillas with about 225 members working for the public every day.  If you would like to become a member,  please contact one of our members or contact the Webmaster for more information.
